Training, Consulting, Coaching - Your place or ours?

We enjoy working with companies or individuals that would like to use us as private consultants and trainers. Perhaps you are considering entering the travel/tourism industry and need career guidance before you jump in. Maybe you already own or manage a travel company and would like to establish a group tour or cruise department or some other specialty area within your existing company.

You might feel that you or your staff need coaching in some of the fine points of customer sales and service. If you are a home-based travel agent you may need training above and beyond that which your host agency has provided you. Or, you may be so busy just taking care of the day-to-day business that comes your way that you haven’t been able to sit down and plot where you’re going. We are here to help you.

Public Speaking

Marty is available to speak to groups both within the travel industry and without. We can tailor our presentations to travel industry organizations, classes and career students on a variety of travel topics. Or, we’re happy to speak at luncheon service groups such as Rotary, Kiwanis and the like on a variety of themes related to travel. Consult us for availability and fees.

"For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of working with Marty de Souto; she provided important tourism insight and vision while serving on my board of directors. She has a unique grasp of world tourism, both outbound and inbound, and understands the important economic and cultural role that tourism plays in a city like ours. I would highly recommend Marty to anyone looking for a true professional."

“As an international graduate student from Turkey, I was privileged to be in Marty’s tourism classes at Berkeley City College. I particularly loved her sense of humor. I am now going home to practice tourism in our resort city of Bodrom and hope to put to work many of the things I learned here in the U.S.”
